1991 Toyota Tercel review from North America
"If you are on a limited budget, get a Tercel instead of a Shitvic and you won't regret it"
What things have gone wrong with the car?
Nothing.
General comments?
This is the best car you can get when it comes to affordability. Whether you need a daily driver, commuter, or a weekend race car, this car is perfect for you. I currently own 4 Tercels, ranging in years from 1992 to 1996 and I love all of them. Other than basic maintenance, I haven't had to do ANYTHING to ANY of them and one is now at the 250k mile mark. I use one for racing (total cost less than $5k and it's FUN to drive) and I use the rest for driving around and having fun.
If you need help with your car, there is even a great resource at http://www.tercelclub.com. They are great over there, and really know their stuff.
