1990 Toyota TownAce super extra efi review from UK and Ireland
"A fun bus"
What things have gone wrong with the car?
My alternator failed recently.
It was discovered at the same time that my steering ball ends were about to fail.
General comments?
This car is very quick off the mark.. even with seven passengers it is smart..
For long runs it is so comfortable that staying awake could be a problem.
In summer it is a delight to open four rooflights and five side windows. though on motorways the noise is dreadfull.
For motorway travel it is perhaps preferable to use the split air conditioning..
In the wet on islands it is a good idea to take your time since the turbo can cause a little surge which can be unnerving if not downright terrifying.
It goes without saying I love my townace, even if it does less than twenty five to the gallon..
