1992 Toyota Truck review from North America
"Best truck I ever owned"
What things have gone wrong with the car?
Ball joints gone at 200000.
Starter at 180000.
Radiator at 150000.
Alternator at 150000.
Idler arms at over 100000.
Driver window won't roll all the way up or down, started at 200000.
Passenger sun visor broke at 125000.
Exhaust system broke at catalytic converter at 145000. Muffler was also worn out at the same time.
Started burning a little oil at 120000. The balljoints were my fault as I never greased them.
Just general wear and tear, nothing major has ever gone wrong.
General comments?
This truck spent its life in Northern Ontario with lots of heavy bush use and lots of brutal winter conditions. It's not exactly very comfortable and its handling isn't the greatest, but I wouldn't hesitate to buy another one. I have owned all brands of trucks over the years, and this one out shone them all.
