2006 Toyota Tundra SR5 review from North America
"Good overall truck!"
What things have gone wrong with the car?
The tires were out-of-round when I bought the truck. Vibrated when driven over 60 mph, two tires replaced by dealer.
Lower ball joint recall.
Low tire pressure warning light on. Need to go back to the dealer.
General comments?
I have owned the vehicle for 1 year and have 3 minor issues. Not too bad, but the dealers in my small town are difficult to work with. So I am little disappointed in all the repairs.
The truck drives very nice, I love the smooth power of the v8/5speed tranny. Off road performance is excellent, mucher better than my 2000 chevy. I owned the v8 4runner before this and loved it too, but wanted a truck.
Rear visiblilty is poor. Rear window rolls down..COOL. A/C is marginal, might get it check when taken to the dealer for tire pressure sensor.
The truck is nice overall, not as comfy as a GM product, but much better than the cheap Ford or Dodge.
