2004 Toyota Tundra SR5 review from North America
"Nice when new, watch out when 18K hits"
What things have gone wrong with the car?
Steady Vibration/shimmy Toyota says is the tires/wheels and says the truck is performing as per "specs" and refuse to do any more to the front end of the vehicle with only 26K on it and fully under warranty.
General comments?
When new the truck rode like a Luxury car, now it does not and Toyota says it is normal.Good morning. Just got back. from arbitration It was a joke. Toyota's Factory
Engineer was the most arrogant individual I have ever come across.
He said I drove the truck aggressively and that was part of the problem, he
notes this due to the previous tires I had on were wearing abnormally. The
arbitrator put an offer on the table for Toyota to go in good faith to do an
alignment and wheel balance on the truck. THEY refused the offer and my wife
and I end up with NOTHING, cause the vehicle is not unsafe or has reduced in
value according to him! And to boot he NEVER even took the vehicle or rode
in it nor was it driven by anyone at the meeting! My wife is so upset she
came out crying. We are done with Toyota!!! And the ironic thing is my wife
even told them if they do this and lose 1 customer 10 will follow!!! They
did not care. My advice to anyone considering Toyota is to go someplace else. Cause they do not give a DAMN
