1984 Toyota Van LE review from North America
"Good for the money"
What things have gone wrong with the car?
Speedometer cable broke 2x, haven't fixed it yet.
Engine missing on cylinder.
Starter and alternator going bad repeatedly due to bad battery.
Side door off track.
General comments?
Considering that I used it as a taxi cab for 3 months before retiring it to private use, it's in good shape. I don't recommend it for cold weather driving though, lack of traction on ice due to rear wheel drive and no weight in the back, but as a summer vehicle it's great.
