1984 Toyota Van LE review from North America
What things have gone wrong with the car?
Having stored in garage under cover for
12 years, had gas tank dropped, cleaned,
coated, new fuel pump & filter, all new
belts, re-manufactured alternator, fresh oil & filter, injectors replaced, new muffler, back brake pads & cylinders, turn drums all new tires.
Drove and ran like a dream.
Until the motor seized due to the wrong oil filter installed during the above. work.
General comments?
No rust, paint still bright & shiny, upholstery in excellent condition, tires excellent, etc.
My point: love that van so much, it is so well constructed and there are so many still running around, I am going to have a re-manufactured engine put in her & drive her for another 250,000 miles
