2008 Toyota Yaris Sedan review from North America
"Best compact around"
What things have gone wrong with the car?
I hear small rattles every now and again. They are never very prominent, and usually go away after a few seconds. Cars will have occasional rattles.
I have always been a Ford and Chevy guy, just like the rest of my family. When it was time to buy a new car, small because of gas (prices), I was torn between the Chevy Cobalt and Ford Focus. Some friends had nothing but trouble with the Cobalt, and the Ford was new (never buy anything the first year it's out). The Toyota dealership was next to the Ford lot. I walked over to look at the Tacoma and found my Yaris.
General comments?
Many people say it's too small. I'm 6'4'' 240 and I fit comfortably in it. Granted, the sedan seemed roomier than the hatchback, at least to me.
It's a small car, so I didn't expect a ton of power; however it's plenty to merge on the highway.
So far it's been a champ in the snow.
