2002 Vauxhall Astra Coupe review from UK and Ireland
"A great looking car at a resonable price"
What things have gone wrong with the car?
Front disk brake caliper recall, inspection.
Rear disk brake caliper recall, fitted new dampers. This cured the scaping noise from the rear of the car.
Leather is a bit on the thin side, when compared to other cars.
General comments?
The car is very quick and drives like it's on rails, there is power available whenever you need it.
The car gives you confidence to take it one step further and it dosen't let you down if you do.
It could be more fun if you could turn off the safety systems e.g. ESP.
With all the extras fitted, Air-con, leather, CD changer, alloys. I always smile when seeing it.
I love the shape of it, from the front it looks like a normal Astra, but from the side you can tell it's something special.
