2002 Vauxhall Astra Elegance review from UK and Ireland

October of 2003 - 18.000 Miles and 15 Months after the purchase of the car. The Brakes started to squeal while braking the car in reverse (fixed under warranty)

2004 - 30.000 miles.

Rubber sill seal at bottom of door came away from body, but only needed pushing back on.

Otherwise just regular maintenance.

Nothing much, gone wrong with the car in two years of ownership.

Unlike the Previous 1999 Renault Laguna, this Vauxhall is very reliable.

OK. It does has some small and a bit annoying niggles, but still is reliable.

A very good car that is surprinsingly fun to drive.

Power at 2500rpm and 4700rpm when it really takes off. Very quick for a 1.8 16V Automatic Saloon.

Automatic Transmission is really smooth. Good motorway car, with a decent level of refinement.

Superb handling and brakes, great feedback from the steering. The car is very safe to drive.

Looks very nice. This is a Metallic Silver Saloon. However, the interior looks a bit dull at least is well featured and reasonably spacious in the back seat.

Seats are comfy, but needs more support around the shoulders. But the driving position is good. Overall a Comfortable car.
