1993 Vauxhall Calibra review from UK and Ireland
"An understated luxury speed machine!"
What things have gone wrong with the car?
Occasional oil seal leaks.
Clutch cable broke 18 months ago.
Petrol leak from top of tank - pump.
No real major problems (touch wood!)
But repairs do tend to be a bit pricey.
General comments?
I've found the car generally reliable.
But as I've already said, any repairs.
Can be a bit expensive - just had the.
Timing belt replaced plus rollers -
£280 at dealers to do this.
On long journeys the car is comfy and.
Eats the miles, but you do need to fill.
Up regularly, and I've recently found it.
Runs better on Shell Optimax petrol - it.
Doesn't "pink" as much.
