"Great 4x4, will carry the family anywhere onroad and off"

What things have gone wrong with the car?

So far nothing at all.

General comments?

In general it's a exellent family 4x4. The 2.2i engine isn't guzzly and petrol works out at £40 a week. Plenty of space for kids, dogs and even shopping! That aint bad for a 2 ton vehicle. Driving is very car like with a little more body roll. Can't feel speed bumps at all. Interiors OK, its not cheap and tacky or high end contemporary. Suits nicely and is easy to access.

Only bad points are parking. Being the lenth that it is it doesn't fit well into parking spaces.

Great machine.

I'd had a Sport for years (and I mean years!!). I then tried a 2.2i LWB and was amazed at the stability of ride and roadholding, and it's so quiet and relaxing to use. The parking is quite funny though. The steering lock is like that of a truck and then you have the length to contend with. I took a big A-bar off the LWB as it just made it too long (LOL). In this eco-friendly climate I think it needs pointing out that the 2.2 is only the same engine as a Vectra, and the older Sport is only the same engine as a Cavalier. So what's the problem you tree huggers?
