1999 Vauxhall Tigra Coupe review from UK and Ireland
"The car is nice to look at and to be in, but there are drawbacks"
What things have gone wrong with the car?
Brakes seem to have no 'feel' through the pedal other than vibration (at speed)
Latest problem has developed engine management light comes on & engine 'dies' ie will not tick over at the next junction or let off of throttle.
Diagnostic revealed no vehicle speed signal, but replacement of sender leaves exactly same problem. ANY IDEAS ANYONE?
Upgrade of radio from vxl radio cassette to cdr 500 unit was simple to do, but aside from entering code using the 'in dash display' this display no longer works, radio plays, but display doesn't.
General comments?
As we've only had the car a couple of months its difficult to give an overview yet we're clearly off to a poor start.
The car itself makes a nice adornment to the drive, but I did buy it to drive around in!
