2000 Vauxhall Vectra DTi review from Spain
"Comfortable, economical and practical"
What things have gone wrong with the car?
Airbag warning light, as with most Vectras!
Slight fluid seepage from steering rack.
Lid of (annoying) front central armrest worked loose.
All fixed under warranty.
General comments?
Paint on bumpers flakes or scrapes off at the slightest touch, so the once beautiful dark blue metallic paint now looks tatty.
Majestic and imposing twin-tone horn; if only lowlier Corsas and Astras had the same!
Incredible economy - constant 40 mpg, good even for a diesel.
The air-con continues to stink the car out; very embarrassing with passengers!
