2000 Vauxhall Vectra SRi from UK and Ireland - Comments

Where should I start. I bought the car from Network Q and it should have had a 114 point service done. The following was not found.

Radio was not working.

Bodywork

Interior marked.

When you point this out to the dealer they don't seem to care.

After sales is crap.

Further problems have arisen.

Engine light has come on again due to crap sensors. And a horrible squeaking coming from the sreering rack, I have reported this to the head office of vauxhall's, but they have told me that to replace the rack it will cost in a region of £560 which Vauxhall will pay a grand total of £120 to the cost.

If I could sell my car to get a better car of the same age I would, but dut to the amount of money this car is worth its not possible.

If you do read this then please choose you car carefully.

The vectra is a good car to drive, its comfortable its pretty quick, but remember the after sales they are useless, if they can get money out of you then they will.

I cannot wait until I get a new car and I can tell you it will not be another vauxhall for the same money you can get a ford and I have been told they are so much better.

Vauxhall if you read all of these messages then maybe you might change you attitude and maybe you may make more sales because at this rate you will be going under.

I drove a company Vectra 2.0 Ls and it served me and the rest of the office well. Good luck if you're going over to Ford.

I have just had 3 years frustration as a Ford Mondeo owner. After sales is totally shocking, and despite numerous returns to the dealer to rectify ongoing faults with electrics, knocking noises coming from the suspension and a dashboard that works very intermittently, nothing has been solved. It came to a head when the autobox gave up at 72K.
