1996 Vauxhall Vectra LS review from UK and Ireland
"Motorway muncher - NOT a cheap runabout!"
What things have gone wrong with the car?
Nothing!
Cam belt changed at 40k. Parts somewhat expensive, as you have to replace the whole assembly & not just the belt.
General comments?
Handling is somewhat unimpressive, but not incredibly so.
An absolute joy to drive on motorways - cruising is brilliant, though you will have to watch your tracking quite carefully.
Fuel economy less than brilliant. 30 mpg, on estimation - an optimistic estimation!
Very comfortable inside, and the inbuilt speakers are pretty good.
