2000 Vauxhall Vectra SRi review from UK and Ireland
"Powerful, comfortable and safe family car"
What things have gone wrong with the car?
The only problem I have had is the centre section of the exhaust system (which was original) needed replacing.
General comments?
I find the car very stable on the corners and easy to maneuver in and around the town (so does the wife her last car being a 1Litre Corsa) and the traction control on those wet mornings, anti-locking brake system (ABS) you just know you are in control of the car.
On the motorway it’s great to push down on the accelerator (knowing you have the power) and pass slower moving cars it’s just a delight to drive.
We have had one small modification and that is a K&N Induction Kit fitted to try and lose the flat spot not convinced it worked, but the roar from the engine sounds good.
If you don’t own a Vauxhall vectra 24 valve 2.5 V6 SRI ----------------WHY NOT!!!
You would love it.
I would definitely buy another Vauxhall Vectra Sri possibly the 3Litre diesel next time.
