"Fast, reliable, but watch the cam chain even if it is its 3rd!"

What things have gone wrong with the car?

Door lock stopped working on rear door.

Cam Chain snapped at 49000 miles (engine also replaced at 5000 miles by dealer), had to have engine rebuild cost me £3000 from vauxhall.

Had crack in manifold.

Had Cat changed.

Had carbon dioxide sensor replace.

Had Oxygen sensor replaced.

Rear Bush replaced.

General comments?

This car is seriously fast, can handle very well on dry twisty roads, but can slide in the wet.

Cabin is nice and seat good for long journeys, but head rests don't move much on full leather seats.

The 2.2 can be a bit thirsty on fuel get about 300-350 on tank, better on optimax.

Can push it hard and the more you drive it responds better.

Tyres not sure about the back don't seem to matter much as geting 25-33k, but front seem to get about 8k of them using Goodyear F1's seem grippier in the wet.

Good having a full load don't phase it.

The 2.2 Vectra z22se also needs regular service of the oil filter every 6000 miles or so, as the oil filter can break down and clog the injectors that feed oil to the cam chain, causing the chain if starved of oil to snap (also must use fully synthetic oil, not semi), but if you do this you have a stunning engine that is very responsive and fun.
