The handbrake well you might as well not use it and honest the car is totally cr**! I'm going back to my original Vectra SRI 140 as its 100x better.
The handbrake, you might as well not have the performance. It's like a Nissan Micra`s performance!!!
So I will be selling the car and getting another Vectra sri 140 or 150 as the performance on them are super they fly!!! And they are sporty looking cars.
Be warned about the hand brake on the 2005 Club models as I'm not the only 1 who is having trouble with it and Vauxhall do not want to know!!!
Then why buy it. It was rather obvious that the 1.8i club was going to be slower than your 2.0 SRi. The 2.0 SRi isn't that fast Try the 2.2i SRi that ius much nippier.
Or the 150ps 16v 1.9cdti..almost equals the 2.2 Direct's 0-60, matches top end.. much more mid-range acceleration & average 45+ mpg!!
Hi, thanks for advice, but have upgraded totally to a 1999 Nissan Skyline GTR and have modded totally the engine. Power is 800 bhp and have got it up to 168 mph on private property, and it would have gone faster, but too many corners. I think 0-60 in 4 or 5 secs, but not sure. If you want a nippy ride, a GTR is the one.

Vauxhall Vectra 2005.
What is this thing you call handbrake?
The one I have in my car is as much use as an ornament.
What do you mean you have an ornament as a hand brake? Is it because how crap the hand brake is or what?
I have had a Vectra 2005 but the handbrake is not good at ALL.
The 1.8 is slow, but sips fuel and cruises really nicely on the motorway.
