2003 Vauxhall Vectra GSI review from UK and Ireland
"One smooth V6 beast"
What things have gone wrong with the car?
I had the the car serviced and MOT ed in December 2006 for £230, and they sorted the air distribution flap clicking noise (under warranty just) at a main Vauxhall dealer.
General comments?
Black pearlescant paint ties in with all the other black gsi trim.
The best thing about it is the styling is under stated for this type of car, giving most boy racers a shock in the acceleration department.
The auto gear box is good for normal driving, but I tend to use the tiptronic shift for fast overtaking. Not much under 3 litres non turbo will keep up from traffic lights (Passat and Audi tdi s always try it on) and from 30 to 70 mph.
The car came with full leather seats (more comfortable than current vxr vectras) and all top of range extras esp traction control, xenon lights, climate control, heated front seats,4 cd changer and cassette player ideal for adapting mp3 players.

| I would consider another one, not a 1.8 though, but SRI yes. Probably the new 1.9 CDTI 150bhp |
