1999 Vauxhall Zafira 16v review from UK and Ireland

What things have gone wrong with the car?
Would have to agree with mr or mrs 275 words.
I am experiencing engine reving when it should be idling as 275 words says between 1000 & 2000 revs.
I have 2 warning lights on intermittently on my dash board
1. Engine electronics
2.Electronically controlled engine cooling. (according to p.12 Zafira book supplied with vehicle).
Vauxhall don't seem surprised!
When this happens temperature gauge does not work and fan runs constantly.
Engine functions in emergency mode.
Seriously NOT something I would expect from a 2 year old vehicle!!
I hope I do have a positive experience when the vehicle goes into vauxhall tomorrow.
Interestingly I now have a 2 year old vauxhall with problems, after owning a Lada Samara (yes I did say Lada) that never saw the inside of a garage unless it was MOT time!!!
General comments?
The vehicle is nice in general, although you cannot see the end of the bonnet - Weird experience.
When working properly runs well.
My kids love it and for our family of 6 it's a practical vehicle.
Not a huge mpv, but certainly practical and with enough room.
A nice vehicle at a seriously competive price although I hope it sees more of the open road than the inside of a vauxhall garage!!
