2006 Volkswagen Beetle Highline Cabrio review from Luxembourg
"A smile everyday"
What things have gone wrong with the car?
Absolutely nothing!
It's still a very new car.
Passenger door creaks when swinging so needs to be checked at next (first) service.
General comments?
Car is very well balanced, the TDi is economical, very responsive & in in my opinion handles better than the Golf it's based on.
The 2 back seats are actually useful as such for 2 adults.
Getting into the Beetle ALWAYS puts a smile on my face and driving her keeps it there.
The wind vent makes a big difference make sure you get one on a cabrio.
You can get cheaper cars in the same segment, but none are as fun.
