Driver's side window switch broke at 14500 miles and had to be replaced.
Could not shift automatic transmission out of "park" and had to be towed to dealership at 15300 miles.
Oil lamp comes on and alarm sounds on an intermittent basis since purchasing the used car at 13000 miles. Warranty had expired.
This Beetle is becoming expensive to own and operate due to frequent repairs. The down time and costs are becoming very annoying.
What was the problem that caused the intermittent flashing oil light?
Bought a wonderful or what seemed to be wonderful used 2001 silver bug after having it 9 months down the road my cylinders went out and it wanted to die on the freeway and it ultimatly did. the check engine light has been on ever since. Now my alarm and key set doesn't work. I now have to start my car and let the alarm go out or die before driveing it. So thanks volkswagen for making my car experience horrible!
