1992 Volkswagen Corrado 16v review from UK and Ireland
"It's one of the best looking cars on the road, and has the performance to do its looks justice"
What things have gone wrong with the car?
Both door handles (common problem)
Oil pressure sender switch (common problem)
Head gasket (common problem)
Alloy wheels corrode (common problem)
General comments?
Wonderful looking car, rare, and very well built.
Incredibly stable handling at high speeds; it's a very well-engineered car.
The downside is that parts, insurance and fuel economy are expensive and that the car is quite sluggish at under 3000rpm, whilst at 4000rpm the car flies.
