1993 Volkswagen Corrado SLC review from North America
"The most unique and powerful VW"
What things have gone wrong with the car?
Replaced all rear wheel bearings.
General comments?
The Corrado SLC (VR6) is a blast. The unique body style turns heads everywhere. Time after time people ask "what kind of car is that?" and "is it new?".
When bad reviews are read or written, one has to realize that these cars are very limited in number, and are at the very least 9 years old in the US. The used Corrado SLC does require more than usual special care in maintaining.
The handling is GREAT. The acceleration of 0-60 in 7.2 seconds is more than enough for the average driver. On the highway, passing is effortless.
All in all, this is a very unique car that requires some one that will give it the attention it needs. I never regret purchasing this car.
