1993 Volkswagen Corrado SLC review from North America
"This is one of Volkswagen's finest cars ever produced"
What things have gone wrong with the car?
Wheel bearings starting to go bad again.
Suspension needing serious replacement and upgrades.
Driver's side heated mirror heating element has just now gone out.
Need to get or upgrade to a larger rim size like 17 inch.
Brakes need to be replaced and upgraded to a six piston caliper.
General comments?
When I first purchased the Corrado, it was everything I wanted in a car. It handled almost like an airplane at speeds at or over 130 m.p.h.. She is still reliable today, even though I need to start replacing a lot of parts. It will take about two years to fully restore and get the Corrado back in shape like she was when she was brand new.
