1993 Volkswagen Corrado SLC review from North America
"All around great car"
What things have gone wrong with the car?
The Corrado's weakest system, without question, is it's cooling system. I've spent more money on cooling system parts, and more time installing them, than ALL other categories of service/maintenance combined.
The only time this car ever suffered a failure that instantly stopped it being driven further was when the spark transformer (coil pack) failed.
General comments?
The abundant torque that the VR6 makes is the most enjoyable feature of this car.
My favorite aspect of owning it is the uniqueness of it. I knew when I bought it that there weren't many of them sold, my kind of car!
