1993 Volkswagen Corrado VR6 review from North America
"Nice ride, but too expensive to maintain"
What things have gone wrong with the car?
There are a lot of problems:
Water pump failure.
Heater hose and heater core.
Brakes.
Radiator hose.
Water pump hose.
Blown transmission.
Power steering hose.
Heated seat elements.
Door handle outside the passenger door.
Factory alarm.
Headlight wires fried.
Secondary water-pump blew out.
Ssuspension.
Engine and oil pan gaskets had to be replaced as well as the above and more things to mention....... etc...
General comments?
It's a fun and fast car to drive and race, this car is a looker, and gets a lot of attention, but is too expensive to maintain due to the high cost of parts and lack of them at dealerships.
In my opinion, if you have the money, buy the car if you like it, but if you don't, don't even test drive it cos it will suck you in to buying it.
