1993 Volkswagen Corrado SLC review from North America
"The world's cheapest Porsche in VW wrappings"
What things have gone wrong with the car?
Lots of problems pop up on a car like this and I have had my fair share.
Coolant hoses are likely to go pop on high mileage cars in hotter climates without modifications to the coolant system with a low temp fan switch, and a low temp thermostat.
Solid car, solid engine, just depends on the level of babying that it has received as to whether the Corrado of your dreams is a dream or a nightmare.
Parts are expensive from dealerships, but are cheaper and widely available online.
Every Corrado owner needs to go to the VWVortex forums for the cheapest tech support in the world. A must see for all Corrado owners.
General comments?
Love the car to death. Cheap, fast and durable. The ultimate hot-hatch.
