1989 Volkswagen Corrado G60 review from Norway
"Fun to drive, and cheap to upgrade!"
What things have gone wrong with the car?
I haven't had it for so long.
General comments?
Supercharger needs lots of TLC, always use synthetic engine oil, change it (and the oil-filter) every 5000km, and change (clean if K&N) the air filter regularly, and last but most importantly; NEVER drive a G60-engined car over 3000rpm when cold!! (Oil temp. must be above 90 degrees celcius).
If you follow these tips, the G-lader (supercharger) will not blow up after 50,000km.
These car are easy to upgrade. Smaller pulley on the G-lader and chip = 190bhp. This costs about $150.
