1986 Volkswagen Golf GL review from North America
"Basic bullet proof transportation"
What things have gone wrong with the car?
Other than the usual maintenance stuff like brakes, struts and exhausts that need replacing once in a while, nothing really.
General comments?
I loved the car, it was very cheap to run and maintain.
It was very slow, but still fun to drive.
I would still driving the heck out it if it weren't for that sad day when it was t-boned by a red light runner.
