1996 Volkswagen Golf CL review from Israel
"Typical German, in the good sense of the word"
What things have gone wrong with the car?
Front windows.
General comments?
This car is overall a quality product, well built,
quality materials, very good fit and finish.
Nearly six years on the roads, looks almost as new (paint, plastics, cloths).
Nice logical interior design. Spacious in front. Seats are comfortable, but lack support.
My car is well equipped (including power everything, front air bags, ABS, air con, remote keyless entry, metallic paint).
Good ride on motorway. Very good handling. The car feels composed, secured and stable at any speed.
Cons: Expensive to buy and maintain. Poor fuel economy. Noisy.
