1991 Volkswagen Golf GTi review from UK and Ireland

What things have gone wrong with the car?
Starter motor which I knew from buying straight away cause off the horrible noise it made starting, but that still took 6 months to break!
Minor things burst pipe on water pump, electric dash light... apart from that nothing...
General comments?
First time owning a golf gti, The golf is lowered 40mm,chipped and has k+n plus stainless exuast system + 4 uniroyal rainsport tyres (live in a wet country), and a sport steering wheel. I gotta say this car is serious fun, its light and it handles amazing especially once lowered...you gotta lowered it 40mm and put decent tires on. My mate has a standard 16v and it handles nowhere near as good!With a few simple mods to boost power and roadholding, this car will destroy most modern so called hot hatches.
