1991 Volkswagen GTI review from South Africa
"It is performing great and I will not sell my car for any other car on the marked"
What things have gone wrong with the car?
At 205000 kilometers the crankshaft broke and caused the valves to bend and the clutch plate and pressure plate had break.
A truck had lifted a rock and hit my windshield and it started to crack and I have hit a bird on a 120 kilometers per hour with the side mirrors, but luckely it didn't break of, only the mirror got out of the holder and fell onto the road and break.
General comments?
The car is not that fast, but it is not to slow.
The cars handling is great especially around the corners.
