2002 Volkswagen Jetta review from North America
"Great start, but unreliable at the end"
What things have gone wrong with the car?
Shaking, will decelerate and accelerate unexpectedly, cylinder misfired, spark plugs and wires replaced, coil pack replaced, etc. I believe suspension is weak.
General comments?
I've never owned a Jetta before. Once my family owned a German car, it was great for the past three years. It's about 70k right now. It started shaking, decelerating when I accelerate (when I'm low on gas), shaking when I'm braking, slow reflex when I stop, start, jerks when I move every once in a while, shakes even more when the AC is on, etc. Luckily I hardly have passengers in my car, but everyone thinks I'm overreacting as well. In a month, after my vacation, I'm going straight to the dealership.
