General comments?
This is the most reliable car I have ever owned (had it for 11 years) to date. I bought it used and once I fixed the few problems it had, (alternator) it was great! It had some weird electrical problems, but it was so dependable I didn't mind. I sold the car last year to get something bigger (this was my college car!) and it was still running strong.
With a set of studded tires it was amazing on snow packed roads.
I would not hesitate to buy another Jetta like this, but I haven't read great reviews on the Jetta's built today.
