2004 Volkswagen Jetta GLS review from North America
"Unreliable"
What things have gone wrong with the car?
The rear brake caliper seized causing failure of both rear calipers/rotors.
Water pump failed requiring replacement of pump/timing belt/thermostat.
Power window failures.
Misc. recalls.
General comments?
I like the styling and handling of this car. These
are the reasons I purchased this model. Manufacturer also offered 0% financing. I want to like this car, but it is just too unreliable for my taste.
