2003 Volkswagen Jetta Wolfsburg review from North America

Nothing has gone wrong so far, Thou I bought this car used, The carfax is clean, not sure how accurate that is, my brakes seem to be a bit funny, which I notice when I purchased, I told the dealer about this, they said the brakes are new, yes the back brakes are new, which means the previous owner beat the hell out of it? Owell.. I have notice if you allow the car to idle (in Fl) for long periods of time, it tends to get a little hot, I do believe the Manual does mention not to do this and the manual also mentions starting the car and not letting it Idle for a long time when you first start it up.. Recommend to start and go.. THe oil change was a shock, it is recommened to use Mobil1 Synthetic Oil.. other wise your warranty could be voided.. Expensive Oil Change.. VW Recommends to change at 5000 mile thou.. instead of the normal 3000...

I like my car and I am happy with it, It is to my surprise quick. I can easily pass people on the highway at high speeds. The bad thing is I feel like I am going 45mph I look down and moving at 85mph? The Monsoon radio is good for a factory radio! The gas mileage is a bit more than I would like. I am driving this car on average 100 miles a day. It is comfortable and handles nicely. My Outside mirrors have defrost.. love that...
