2003 Volkswagen Jetta GLS review from Mexico
"Just a liability"
What things have gone wrong with the car?
The automatic transmission is about to die (just like my older Jetta, only that 40k kilometers younger this time).
Each times it rains, I get a warm jacuzzi inside, even though I've fixed the sunroof, the plastics and checked every spot three times already. By the way, the VW local dealer representative said they could not fix that.
Details are starting to be noticed, like window switches malfunction, rear bumper plastics breakages, funny noises and many others.
General comments?
I promised to myself I would not buy a VW Jetta again, but I did. And now I regret it.
Why? because I got a great deal on this one, I thought this one would be better, I thought VW fixed the bugs, I thought I was getting a good durable car. Soon my expectations came down to the floor.
This is a shame, because the car is so fun to drive, feels very tight at high speeds, is very comfortable, has a great look and the girls love it.
I am sorry but today I decided to get rid of it before I live again the horrible experience again when my last vw jetta left me bankrupt (I don't feel like using caps for vw and jetta anymore).
