2002 Volkswagen Jetta review from North America
"This car is horrible"
What things have gone wrong with the car?
This is the LONG LIST of problems that went wrong with my 2002 Volkswagen Jetta 1.8T.
I had my turbocharger replaced twice, my transmission replaced, the oil pan replaced, the oil pump replaced, the head replaced, the coils replace, crank rods, camshafts, and bearings replaced.
I had my brake rotors replaced on all corners and pads twice.
My temperature gauge light keeps blinking when the car is cold, and my battery keeps dying.
I have a 2 year unlimited mile warranty on the car and they didn't cover any of the charges. I have spent $9,000 fixing this car, and I still owe money on it.
Now my car has overheated and my engine has seized. It will cost me another $2,300 for a new engine without labor. I have been without my car for more than 7 months. This is by far the worst car ever! I never thought that I would be investing almost $10,000 in repairs for this car.
