1994 Volkswagen Jetta GL review from North America
"OLD...That's it. But I wouldn't trade her for the world... OK maybe.."
What things have gone wrong with the car?
First off... Engine light comes on and off as it pleases.
Radio works every 2 to 3 weeks.
Nearly impossible to find replacement parts for interior.
Seats are wearing out.
VERY LOUD (not always in a good way).
Shakes at around 60-70km/hr.
Starts every once in a while after a few tries. Daily starting is turn key, see if starts, turn key press gas, quickly put in drive/reverse hit gas before RPMs hit 0 and drive off.
BUT WHAT CAN YOU EXPECT FROM A 1994 JETTA!!! COME ON!!! I'M HAPPY SHE STILL WORKS!!!
General comments?
The car is still running luckily :D I love my SPUT PUTT... the nickname it deserves as it sputters down the street being passed by old men on bicycles. It has lasted a LONG LONG TIME!!! And can be reliable... can be, not always is. Overall it's time for a new car... but I'll miss this one for sure.
