1999 Volkswagen Jetta GL review from North America
"I love my car, but it is just like raising a child"
What things have gone wrong with the car?
Alternator went out.
Battery.
Windshield wiper motor.
Cup holder (both backseat and front seat).
Backseat driver's side lock doesn't work.
CD player shuts off.
General comments?
I love this car. I think it is an absolute gem.
The only things that have gone are basic maintenance in my opinion.
I traveled 7 hours in my car, with two big dogs, and was not uncomfortable.
Air circulation is okay.
It's easy to maneuver.
