2001 Volkswagen Jetta SC review from North America

What things have gone wrong with the car?
Timing belt went out and had to replace the belt, valves, and secondary valves, water pump, and head gasket. at 89k.
Dip stick, serpentine belt, and battery all replaced at 89k miles.
Clutch went out at 75k miles.
Replaced about 8 tail lights and headlight within two years.
Window regulator replaced on two windows.
Driver seat warmer no longer works at 70k.
Middle console broken when purchased at 43k.
Middle console completely broke off at 44k.
Car dies, EPC light came on, car won't start, awaiting diagnostic.
General comments?
Smells like crayons!
Not spacious in front seats.
Big trunk.
Seats attract lint and need cleaned with a lint roller.
