1991 Volkswagen Jetta GL review from North America
"Good car, Great price"
What things have gone wrong with the car?
The ignition had problems when I first bought the car, and eventually the car stopped starting. I put a cheap hot switch in and have had no problems since.
General comments?
My Jetta is the best deal I've ever gotten on a car - 900 bucks with a fully rebuilt engine.
I was surprised at how peppy the car is, considering its age. My roommate's stock 97 Civic won't keep up with it.
This car is slightly lowered and handles better than most cars I have ridden in, many with much more expensive suspension.
How can I complain? (My last car was a crummy hatchback.)
