1991 Volkswagen Jetta GL review from North America
"If you get a good deal, buy this car"
What things have gone wrong with the car?
My Jetta GL doesn't start up when the engine is hot. I learned that it was a mistake by Volkswagen, by making the the starter too close to the engine.
Right now my blinkers and my horn do not work. I replaced the fuses, and the directional relay, but neither I nor the dealer have any clue on whats going on.
General comments?
This car can go. Its got 148k miles on it and I can still hit 120 miles per hour with no difficulty.
The Jetta GL handles like no other car. I can get through anything.
The 1.8 engine with manual transmission is quick. I feel like I can beat anyone on the road, but there are some exceptions.
