1990 Volkswagen Jetta review from North America
"A great car!"
What things have gone wrong with the car?
One problem that I find inconvenent is the fact that the exterior door handles stick. The back passengers side is nearly impossible to open.
I find that the car frequently throws power stiring and altenator belts.
General comments?
Over all I really like my Jetta its cheap to drive and very comfortable. I stress the cheap to drive. I would never own any other type of car. I have recommended this make of car to everyone I know. Of course like any car its only as reliable as its maintnance schedule. You can't drive a car into the ground and then label it junk because you don't apply TLC. My Jetta has very high kilometres on it and only now is it having miner break downs.
