1999 Volkswagen Jetta review from North America
"The most expensive compact car on the market"
What things have gone wrong with the car?
To start with the mass airflow meter has failed twice.
Major brake problems at 15000 miles had to replace rotor's, brake pads, and calipers.
Major hesitation if you do not use Chevron.
Radio volume control does not work.
Glove box hinge broke glove box falls off is opened.
Trunk lights do not work.
Tires needed replacement at 19000 miles!
General comments?
The car if great to drive when it is not in the shop.
The car has great handling.
