2002 Volkswagen Jetta GLS review from North America

1. The Passenger Window fell down into door. They took it in after I had to get ugly because it was to rain the whole weekend. They replaced front and passenger regulators. Now driver door is "clunking" which is the way the other went down.

2. Radio keeps cutting off. Took it too a dealership, you have to pull fuse 41 out and put it back in. (Common problem he tells me)

3. Plastic on drivers door handle on inside is peeling.

4. Unusual. We put key in... it starts and makes it sound like a diesel. Push clutch in and makes a rat a tat tat sound, air conditioning won't work, inside lights go out. Pull key out do it again, does the same thing, pull key out and put it back in and its fine. (Flow VW says, you must have turned the key too far???) (What)

5. Car studders occasionally making you feel like you are out of gas.

This car is gorgeous when it is clean and I had wanted one my whole life, now I wish I had kept my acura. The pickup is more than I anticipated, but with the studdering and spitting, it's as slow as a Ford Fiesta. I am so disappointed, I see all of the reviews regarding the coils, is this similar? P.S. The cupholder blocks the CD and radio from vision. Please if you do get one, get the Monsoon system, that is the ONLY thing that car has going for it.
