1997 Volkswagen Jetta GL review from North America
"A true"
What things have gone wrong with the car?
Shocks and muffler went at 100k
light paint fade at 120k
starter, ignition coil and alternator went at 150k.
General comments?
One of the most fun cars I have ever driven. Sporty feel on both back roads and highways. Wonderful at holding any road during any kind of driving. Plenty of passing power there at any speed. Gas mileage is still high (25 MPG) during long high speed drives (70-80 mph). Sound system is amazing, still strong after 7 years or hard use. Cargo room is unreal. holds more stuff then my friends Chevy celebrity wagon.
