1999 Volkswagen Jetta Wolfsburg review from North America

Absolutely nothing has gone wrong with this car, I bought this car in 2003 with a little over 98k miles on it and it purred like a kitten, still does too.

I've done nothing to this car as far as repairing it, (ouside of the typical maintenance duties); i.e. brake pads, rotor and the now and then liquid changes.

The only thing that's not too great is the rear window defrost during the winter snows when there's a foot on the car.

This is an overall excellent automobile and I'd recommend that anyone with a brain buy one. Knowing how to fix cars myself and how to KEEP THEM RUNNING, unlike some commenters, has helped me along the way, but I can't see anything majorly or even minorly wrong with any VW. They're built like rocks and I can't see how things can be broken, take care of your cars people.

Outside of it being the old body style, everything's excellent.

It's a 1999 Jetta Wolfsburg Edition, fully loaded, red, excellent/comfortable interior and a great exterior.

It's fully loaded, power (auto) windows (All 4), ABS (which was installed by myself), a stock 6 disk cd changer, powered moon roof, excellent heating and AC unit.

New side skirts, rear bumper, front grill, hood and full-out exhaust system were put on the car (not because it needed it, but for aesthetic reasons).

The Wolfsburg is top of the line for this particular model and I recommend to anyone who's looking, GET ONE!
